As an English Major I enjoyed reading Ironies and Satires in literature, but now I see them more and more in everyday life. I believe God watches us and laughs and laughs. Life is the greatest sitcom ever.

Life Under the Stairs

I’m naturally cynical, but in my mid-twenties, I went through a moderately grueling divorce, which was followed by two years of my life progressively falling into the abyss. I was stressed, and I was frequently depressed which by definition means I couldn’t have been happy. What has helped me to start clawing my way back towards the precipice is the freedom that losing nearly everything has given me, along with a massive dose of a strange sense of humor towards Irony and Satire. I believe in God, and I think he has a wicked sense of humor. Who needs TV when he can watch us deal with the most ludicrous sitcom of all: Life.
