As an English Major I enjoyed reading Ironies and Satires in literature, but now I see them more and more in everyday life. I believe God watches us and laughs and laughs. Life is the greatest sitcom ever.

It’s a strange day when Someone religious attacks your religion

Published by sesasha under Life Edit This

Something bizarre happened to me today, and I’m bothered by it. Someone noticed my religion on a social networking site. A person I didn’t know, in fact saw my religion on a social networking site and this individual claims to be a Christian. This, to me, says that he should act like Christ but for some reason he decided to attack my beliefs, in spite of the fact that they largely correspond with his own. Why do people go all nuts when it comes to religion. I am who I am and I believe what I believe and why does anyone else care? If you convert me, does it validate your opinion? Is that why? Because aside from that I can’t see it affecting anyone’s life by my own. You’re not interested in saving my soul, so please stop claiming that’s the reason you’re going crazy that I’m different. Also it says on my profile that I like open-minded people. Being open-minded indicates that you don’t go crazy when someone is different. Different isn’t a bad thing. It’s just a thing.
