As an English Major I enjoyed reading Ironies and Satires in literature, but now I see them more and more in everyday life. I believe God watches us and laughs and laughs. Life is the greatest sitcom ever.

we’ve been staying with j’s mom for the last week and it feels like an eternity. her heart is in the right place and she means well. she just also seems to think that the kids, j or i need much more than we really do. it’s thoughtful and i love that. i just wish she would take what i say at face value. i really wish she would take what i say at face value. if i say “no thanks we’re fine.” it’s because that’s actually what i mean. we’re pretty low maintenance. my kids might whine because they’re kids, but they’re good on clothes, shoes and toys. we’re all good. Really. I PROMISE! let us be!
