As an English Major I enjoyed reading Ironies and Satires in literature, but now I see them more and more in everyday life. I believe God watches us and laughs and laughs. Life is the greatest sitcom ever.

I’d Rather Not Pay That Close Attention to the People Around Me

Published by sesasha at 8:48 pm under Humor, Life Edit This

I’m watching Kevin James, Sweat the Small Stuff on Comedy Central at the moment, and he just did his bit about watching people have underwear problems and dealing with them without using their hands. I just don’t pay that much attention to the people around me. I grew up in New England, so my instincts basically tell me to ignore everyone else around me like I have horse blinders on and no one else exists in that moment. I get crap from people about being unaware of my surroundings, but the bottom line is I really don’t want to be so cognizant of the people near me in the store that I notice when they try to be sly and fix wedgies. I really think I’d rather have someone pick my pocket.
